Why We Love Wichita

Norman Douglas: “In my humble opinion, Wichita is home to some of the best people in the world. These folks are a big part of why I enjoy being a part of the Wichita community. I also love that the city offers a small-town feel while still having plenty to see and do. I can get from one side of town to the other very quickly, and anywhere in between. Plus, more often than not, I know someone wherever I go. Wichita has been a blessing to myself and my family, and we’re proud to call it home.”

Gary Albin: “What I love most about Wichita are the people – my family, my friends, my neighbors and my clients. I’ve lived at various times in other locations, including bigger cities and smaller towns, but I’ve never found a place with more friendly, open, genuinely caring people who support each other and work to make our lives and our community better.”

Sean Brennan: “There is growing enthusiasm about Wichita and its downtown core and for good reason. From the development on the river, to the many projects happening downtown, to the continued growth and development of Delano and the Douglas Design District, Wichita is moving in the right direction. We recently painted the Wichita flag on the side of our building to signify that we are proud of our city and the momentum that is propelling us forward.”

Todd King: “I was born and raised in Wichita. I raised my family here as well. I have watched it change over the years and enjoy witnessing its ongoing revitalization, especially in the heart of the city – downtown. The people have this practical midwest mindset with a blend of modern optimism. From outdoor activities and hometown sports teams, to music and theater, there is plenty to do in Wichita if you are willing to look for it. Wichita continues to try and strike a balance between small city and big town, but it will always be home to me.”
