Attorneys and law offices are considered essential services under the Sedgwick County order. While many members of our staff are working from home, there is always an attorney in the office and available to speak with clients. We are sanitizing doors and counters frequently and practicing social distancing. If you’re planning to come in for a scheduled appointment, please limit the number of people coming with you. We are keeping normal business hours but if you prefer to contact us online, on the phone or through the mail--that’s fine too.
The video library on this page outlines some of our efforts and thoughts on how to protect yourself. There has never been a better time to make plans for the emotional, physical and financial security of your family. Reach out to the Accident Recovery Team with questions and concerns, we’re here and working to help our fellow Wichitans.
With the final day of distribution complete, Operation Holiday 2020, powered by HumanKind Ministries, wrapped up another successful year of giving. In partnership with the Accident Recovery Team, the annual holiday food and gift drive met increased need due to COVID-19 and related financial hardships. Together, the organizations served thousands of low-income men, women and children with holiday meals and Christmas gifts.
Each year since 1960, generous individuals and organizations come together with HumanKind Ministries to run Wichita’s largest holiday assistance program. More than providing basic needs to Sedgwick County’s most vulnerable residents, Operation Holiday brings the community together in a spirit of human kindness to spread hope—showing our low-income neighbors that their community cares.
The Accident Recovery Team values this effort and the incredible amount of good it does in the community. From the donation drive to the telethon and then participating in the distribution of Christmas presents and food for holiday meals, the team really appreciates this opportunity to serve.
